BIO

Vikram Raghavan is an Indian-American singer trained in the South Indian tradition of Carnatic music.  Known for his highly emotive singing and adherence to art-music values, Vikram strives to create those musical moments that have the power to deeply move and effect change.  Having been under the expert tutelage of Ramon Magsaysay Awardee T.M. Krishna since 2003, Vikram has performed widely across India and North America, and is a regular feature in the December music season in Chennai.  Being a multifaceted artist, he has also worked extensively to initiate, ideate, and collaborate on various initiatives to further the development of the arts ecosystem.

PROJECTS

2008 - Present

Svanubhava is festival aimed at showcasing the glory of the Indian performing arts to students across India.  Launched in Chennai, the festival has since been presented in Delhi, Jaffna, Trichy, Bangalore, and Anaikatti.

2009-2015

Founder of this first-of-its-kind web portal and app which provided the most comprehensive listing of concert schedules to rasikas.  Launched initially for the December season, the platform grew to be year-round and also had news, artist bios, venue information, and more.
